We can take your printer ready "book" have it printed and then bind
it for you.
17. Can I have you have to book printed for me and then bound?
Yes, this is no problem. If your Bible is not sewn, the spine will need
reinforcing in the process. You might want to consider having the
corners rounded as well but if your have lots of notes, you might not
want this.

us via and e-mail attached file in Word.
16. I have written my book but it needs editing or I want to convert it to a
different size.
Can you do that for me?
Have it printed with a minimum left hand or gutter margin of 1¼
inches.
Have the printer include 2 blank sheets at the front and back with the same
paper it is printed on.
Bring or send the printed and collated pages to us for binding.
15. I have written my book / thesis. What do I need to do next to
have it bound?
We plan to add this this craft later this year. Slip cases are
normally made to order and customized for specific volumes. Check here for
updates.
14. Do you make slip cover boxes for antique volumes?
Page edge gilding can be done on some books. It requires trimming
and sanding the edges of the book body. The cost is high.
We do not do this a this time.
13. Can the edges of my book be "gilded" or edged in
Bonded leather is made from shredded leather fibers bonded together
with a another material such as vinyl, latex or polyurethane. It is given a
leather like grain and laid out in sheets or rolls. It costs less that
genuine leather but is also durable
12. What is "bonded leather"?
It can be
paper, cloth or vinyl that is embossed with a leather-like appearance.
11. What is "imitation leather"?
Yes, but it may depend on its condition.
10. Can my paperback book be converted to a hard or soft
cover?
We accept VISA or MASTERCARD and DISCOVER
This is very possible
and is a specialty of ours. Although there are limitations, a custom cover
can be as creative as your scrapbook itself.
8. Can I have a custom cover made, bound and imprinted on
my scrapbook?
Yes, this is a great time to recover a book.
There should be no further repair needed.
7. Can I have my brand new book/Bible rebound with a nicer or custom cover?
The best time is as soon as possible or when the cover is beginning to come loose or detached. Waiting longer can cause the
signatures or pages to loosen or separate, adding to the cost of repair.
6.
At what point should I have my book repaired?
It can be reattached. This happens when the hinge cloth and endpaper wears out (usually on the
front cover). The cover can
be reattached with a new hinge, headbands and endpapers. Endpapers are rarely salvageable.
If the cover is made of bonded leather, you should consider replacing it as
it will soon begin to wear out.
It depends on the condition of the old cover. Repairing the old cover can
sometimes be time-consuming and expensive and is normally reserved for
conserving antique books. However minor repairs can sometimes be made.
4.
Can my book/Bible cover be reattached or must it be changed?
Cloth, leather, paper or vinyl covers are common.
Cloth should be book cloth manufactured for binding. Although creative
covers can be made with other cloth. the problem is that the glue can soak
through most materials that do not have a special sizing on the back side
3. What
materials can be used on my hardcover book?
Yes. It is best that all the pages be uniform in size and shape.
Depending on the margins they can trimmed to match.
